Our Class Today - Reading Strategy & Writing

Today we did a few sundry things.

We accesses the page on the Critical Reading Strategies from the College Confidential - courtesy Ratul. We also discusses the idea of Intertextuality in Detail. We discussed the Song "I wanna be like you" from The Jungle Book.

We have also briefly answered a few Writing Corrections.

We intend to talk a few other things from the Writing Strategy - KAAPLAN Writing Handbook.

Only 3 in the Class Today

Dear All,

As we had decided earlier - we will keep ourselves busy - so it did go today. Only Nimmi, Ratul, Waseq, and Zuhair came. I have been busy all day with finalizing the Essays. I hope everybody is working FULL scale at home.

We shall meet on THURSDAY, in the morning. Therefore, Tomorrow is Closed too. Do NOT waste this Wednesday - work at home and if you have query - send me MAILS.

From Saturday we shall go ahead full throttle - every day at least ONE test of SAT-I test. I shall also have at least 2 classes on the SAT-I. One on Critical Reading and the other on Writing.

Hope to receive your mails today.

Argho - Reports on Grubbers Maths

I have so far given 3 practice tests on Grubbers, each containing four sections. These are my observations regarding Grubber Maths:
    1) They emphasize on word problems to much depth in comparison to other books.
    2) Permutation and combination is of a different type, a sort that is quite rare in exam papers.
    3) Integer and other even odd and miscellaneous problems can be frustrating at times, and some are even highly complex. (SOME)
    4) Some of the sums require above 2 mins to solve.
    5) It is de-motivating but is the next step to a better maths score.

This LETTER is actually for Everyone

While it is very important that you attend the app classes - it is equally important that you attend the EXAMS with proper preparation.
In the meantime - keep sense - settle down - read a few essays from Granta (actually any source you think Fit) and start writing about the world around you. Please remember that going CRAZY is NOT going to help you. You have this crazyness experience before and I must warn you NOT to repeat it.
So, go for some reading and - Writing Essays on some VERY Carefully Selected Topics.

Dear Sir,

I don't need to worry about Brown any more. I've submitted every component of the application process.
Thank you, Shababa
